our friends at leap street have a love for paving the way of learning, right from birth. they are a collective of educators and child learning experts based in melbourne, who take a science-based approach to early learning. we love their ethos of "putting your best feet forward" and asked them for tips on how our jnr.community can too foster a (early) love of literacy in their own homes.
play is absolutely essential for your toddler’s healthy development, but it can be time consuming if you need to facilitate the play yourself! encouraging your toddler to play independently can be a struggle, and some are just more keen to do it than others. we spoke with our dear friend dr.golly to talk all things independent play – especially as he has now just launched a toddler tool kit program with a team of experts. and we are a little obsessed.
